Working principle of electric V regulating ball valve

The electric V-type regulating ball valve has a special V-type notch. When the valve closes, the V-type notch forms a wedge with the valve seat and has a shearing effect. Electric V-type ball valve is suitable for controlling fiber slurry, sewage and viscous granular media. It can prevent fouling stuck between ball and valve seat. It has self-cleaning function and is a widely used regulating valve.

Because the electric V-type regulating ball valve is usually single seat sealed ball valve, so it is not suitable for two-way use, the use of integral body structure, there is no potential for leakage.


Features of electric V type ball valve:

2. Electric V-type ball valve adopts double bearing structure. It has high mechanical stability and small starting torque, which ensures excellent sensitivity and induction speed of the valve.

4. The V-type notch and seat of the electric V-type regulating ball valve produce a strong shearing force which can cut off the impurities such as fibers, and have self-cleaning function to avoid valve stuck.


5. Maximum Flow Volume: Because of the streamlined shape of the V-shaped electric ball valve and the full right angle rotation control, the maximum value of the volume is particularly high, the flow capacity is particularly large, and the flow resistance is small.


Classification and classification of ball valves


Ball valve is a kind of valve with ball as its closing part. Floating ball valve


The ball of the ball valve is floating. Under the action of the medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and press tightly on the sealing surface of the outlet to ensure the sealing of the outlet.


Floating ball valve has simple structure and good sealing, but the ball bears the load of working medium all passed to the outlet sealing ring, so it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. This structure is widely used in medium low pressure ball valves.


Two, fixed ball valve


The sphere of the ball valve is fixed and does not move after compression. Fixed ball valves are equipped with floating seats. When the medium pressure is applied, the seats move and the sealing rings are pressed tightly on the ball to ensure the sealing. Usually, bearings are installed on the upper and lower shafts of the sphere with small operating torque, suitable for high pressure and large diameter valves.


In order to reduce the operating torque of ball valve and increase the usability of sealing, oil seal ball valve has appeared in recent years. It not only injects special lubricating oil between sealing surfaces to form a layer of oil film, which enhances the sealing performance, but also reduces the operating torque. It is more suitable for high pressure large diameter ball valve.


Three, elastic ball valve


The sphere of the ball valve is elastic. The sphere and seat seals are made of metal materials, and the sealing pressure is very high. According to the pressure of the medium itself can not meet the sealing requirements, external force must be applied. This valve is suitable for high temperature and high pressure media.


The elastic sphere opens an elastic slot at the lower end of the inner wall of the sphere and obtains elasticity. When the channel is closed, the ball is opened with the wedge head of the stem to seal the valve seat tightly. The wedge head is loosened before turning the sphere, and the sphere is restored to its original shape, resulting in a small gap between the sphere and the valve seat, thus reducing friction and operating torque on the sealing surface.
