The butterfly plate of the clamp butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and the rotation angle is between 0 and 90 which can play the role of flow regulation. When the butterfly plate rotates to 90 the valve reaches a larger opening. The clamp butterfly valve is simple in structure, small in volume and light in weight, and consists of only a few parts. The valve can be switched on and off quickly only by rotating 90 degrees. The operation is simple and the valve has good fluid control characteristics.
